Week 10 (14/6/08)

The Under 8 Purple had a great win this week. There was lots of goals scored with Riley getting a hat-trick. However they need to still concentrate on staying in their positions and passing to each other more. A couple of players really put themselves in the firing line, being hit in the stomach with the ball- so the reserves were very busy this week. The player of the week was Riley – he really excelled himself. Well done boys!

Game 5 (10/5/08)
SCORERS: Nicholas Churchill, Joel Crawford, Riley Behlevanas
The Gladesville Ravens were an even match for PHCS this week. Provoding a nail biting game for both teams and supporters. Both teams played well and Riley was great getting the last goal in the last few minutes of the game. All the boys worked hard and were getting tired towards the end of the game yet they still managed to pull through and watch their positions. Well done to Ashley as our player of the week, he was a team player this week – determined to get the ball down the front. Well done Ashley and all the boys.

Game 4 (3/5/08)

Pacific Hills again another fantastic game. It was such an enjoyable game to watch, seeing some of the players who don’t often score get really involved and were rewarded with a goal for their team. The boys held their positions well and it paid off for them. Max put on a great performance this week, he just didn’t give in. Congratulations to Jesse who was our player of the week, he was reserve first half and couldn’t wait to get out there, when he did he gave it his all. Well done Jesse and all the boys you were all wonderful.

Game 2 (12/4/08)

Pacific Hills were “ on fire “ this week. The whole team were really focused this game and it was great to see them improving in passing the ball to each other. With Riley scoring three goals, Nicholas, Joel, Wilfred, Ashley and Daniel all getting one each, Pacific Hills were unbeatable. Wilfred was our player of the week as he was giving his all through the whole game. Well done boys!
