Week 3 (9 May)
RESULT: WIN 10-7
SCORERS: Samuel Kirkegard (3), Corey Bridgewater (3), Thomas Dickson (2), Zachary Benson, Yannis Low
An early start for the team and Nornamhurst came out strong. Within a few minutes the boys were 4-0 down. But after the first goal from Sam the boys realised they could score against the taller opposition. Another goal by Sam and break-away goals by Corey, Thomas and Zac meant that at half time the score was 5 all. In the second half the boys played as a great team. One goal finished by Corey touched all players on the way. Great attacking defense by Ethan and Zac led to a great pass to Yannis and he scored. Matt was always around wherever the ball was and made scoring for the opposition difficult. Kicking off after an opposition goal, Matt kicked it to the recently subbed back on Corey and he finished off with a great long range goal. Well done boys. Corey was player of the week
