Week x (15 Aug)
RESULT: WIN 5-3
SCORERS: Oliver Conn + 4, Bryson Herald + 1
Great game today. The boys had a lot of fun playing against the Normanhurst team, who were a good match for us today. Olly was on fire with his scoring and Bryson promised his Mum a goal and delivered on that! There were numerous other close attempts by the boys at scoring and some very impressive saves. What a great way to end the season.

Week 15 (8 Aug)
RESULT: WIN 4-1
SCORERS: Charlie Stewart + 2, James Simmonds + 1, Oliver Conn + 1, Charlie Stewart +1 (own goal)
Awesome game today. It was a real team effort, with Olly, Charlie, James and Bryson getting in there and attacking. Ethan and Tim helped keep the ball in play midfield and Jasper and Ben were defending. It is great to see how they have all improved since they started and they have a lot of fun doing it.
It was good to have James back playing today. He did an awesome save in the goal today. After a bit of a tackle he fell to the ground and ended up with Jasper on top of him. All in the name of the game!
Player of the week went to Olly for some great attempts at scoring…so close but so far so many times! Great effort and well done for not giving up.

Week 15 (1 Aug)
RESULT: WIN 5-2
SCORERS: Bryson Herald + 2, Charlie Stewart + 1, Oliver Conn + 2
All the boys had a great game today. Their passing and kicking are continually improving and they are learning to get in there and attack to get the ball off the other team. Jasper and Tim did some excellent kicking today, Ben was great at defending and Olly, Charlie and Bryson did fantastic jobs at scoring goals with some fancy footwork and they all had a number of close attempts in additional to the actual goals.
Player of the week went to Ethan for really showing some improvement in his game. Well done!

Week 14 (25 July)
RESULT: LOSS 3-4
SCORERS: Oliver Conn + 3
The game started off a bit slow today after a number of weeks of not playing, but it soon picked up pace.
Olly did a fantastic job of scoring all 3 goals this week. Charlie did some good side line work, both Ethan and Timmy were getting in there with some good kicks, Bryson nearly scored so many times and Ben did some good defending work today.
Player of the week went to Jasper for showing a huge improvement, some great tackling and some great defending skills.

Week 11 (4 July)
RESULT: WIN 2-1
SCORERS: Oliver Conn + 2
The game was a bit slow to start off with today with only 3 players taking the field for each side, but it picked up pace.
Olly did a great job scoring both goals today. He would have scored another if the top goal post hadn’t been in the way!
Charlie and Ben both did well in defence today and Bryson was getting in there with his tackling.
Player of the week went to Olly for an all round fantastic game.

Week 10 (27 June)
RESULT: WIN 4-3
SCORERS: Bryson Herald + 1, Ethan Husband + 1, Oliver Conn + 1, Charlie Stewart + 1
Great game today against a good opposition.
Ethan did some great passing today, had a good goal attempt and then scored. He didn’t believe it himself! Charlie did some great defence work this week and scored a goal from the halfway line. We were all watching eagerly as it rolled in. Ben also did some great defence work and was there as our sweeper to keep the opposition at bay. James did an awesome effort at whacking the ball again this week. Jasper was really getting in there and even took a ball in the stomach for the team! Both Olly and Bryson were constantly in there and going for some great shots.
Player of the week went to Timmy for some great running today.

Week 8 (13 June)
RESULT: LOSS 2-5
SCORERS: Bryson Herald + 1, WPH/a own goal
A very friendly game today with one of the boys classmates in the opposition! James once again gave it his all with his powerful kicks and literally threw himself at the ball in the first half. Bryson managed a backwards kick and scored a goal for us too! He also got another ball to the goal line, but it didn’t go the extra few centimetres required for it to count Olly had a few close attempts at scoring, but unfortunately the opposition were too good for us. Ben, Ethan and Jasper were getting in there and did their bit with some dribbling. Tim did a great setup for a goal, which went to the opposition, who then scored the second goal for us. It helps to have your friends on the opposition!!
Player of the week went to Charlie. He showed some outstanding defence work today. Well done!

Week 7 (6 June)
RESULT: LOSS 1-5
SCORERS: Olly Conn - 1
By the time we played the pitch was quite a bit cut up and as a result it was a tough defensive hard tackling game with our opposition stepping up the intensity and a little too much hard tackling at times. We started really well with lots of good runs by Bryson and Olly but alas no goal and as the first half moved on we had to get into some serious tackling and defending. Olly and Charlie both had some great tackles and clearances off our line to save goals and everybody was in there tackling hard and James did his usual big kick outs.
Jasper and Bryson also took a couple of balls in their chest stopping the ball going forward
In the second half we had a few more runs with Ethan, Jasper and Bryson all having runs down the wing and eventually we managed to get a goal with Olly running into score. Most of the time we were battling away in the middle with good play on the line by Olly, tackling by Charlie and James and lots of good kicks. Well done for battling in the dirt today and good team work with all the tackling and kicking today
Player of the match went to James for his big kicking and tackling. Well done.

Week 6 (30 May)
RESULT: LOSS 3-4
SCORERS: Oliver Conn + 1, Charlie Stewart + 1, Bryson Herald + 1
With just a few seconds to go, the opposition scored the winning goal. So close!
Great effort by the team today. All are showing improvements match by match. James had some solid kicks today, which were great from the sideline and had a spectacular fall. All okay though! Ben did a fantastic over the heads kick from the sideline too. Charlie had some wonderful footwork happening (your Dad will be proud of you!). Good team passing from Olly, Tim and Ethan.
Player of the match went to Bryson for a beautiful goal (it just rolled in) and good follow through. Well done.

Week 4 (16 May)
RESULT: WIN 3-1
SCORERS: Oliver Conn + 2, Bryson Herald + 1
We had a great game today against Normanhurst, despite the wind! Olly and James worked well together to set up the goals and then score. All the boys are improving, especially with their kicking and learning to get in there after the ball.
Player of the match went to Jasper for a huge improvement with his running and kicking.

Week 3 (9 May)
RESULT: WIN 7-2
SCORERS: Oliver Conn + 3, Bryson Herald + 2, James Simmonds + 1, Ben Sumskas + 1
What an awesome game! Our team was on fire today. There were some good setups by James and Charlie, showing how to work as a team, some great saves and a number of close attempts at scoring by Tim. Well done boys.
Player of the week went to Ben.

Week 2 (2 May)
RESULT: LOSS 0-5
Despite losing, it was a great game. Our team played well, with everyone getting in there and giving it a go. There was a great slide tackle from Charlie, good kicks from Jasper, Ben, Bryson and Ethan, good defence from James and good passing and dribbling from Timothy.
Player of the match went to Oli for some great defence work and dribbling.

What an awesome first game for everyone! The boys had lots of fun and there was a lot of excited energy to run off.
A win of 6-3. Goals were scored by Oli (3), James (2) and Bryson (1). There were a number of great saves and setups and Timothy, Ethan, Jasper, Charlie and Ben all got in there and gave it a go. Great effort by everyone.
