Another great win this week with some excellent goal scoring from both Lachlan Guy and Lachlan Dewar. Riley also showed great skill marking his player and Corey and Jonah played well displaying good defense and ball passing. Lachlan Dewar was awarded player of the match this week – Congratulations Lachlan!

1-2 Loss v West Pennant Hills

Lachlan Dewar scored our first goal for the game and won the Player of the Match for his great performance. Unfortunately the team were unable to hold onto the lead. Our opponents were just stronger on the day, even though the boys showed great enthusiasm and stamina throughout the match.

3-2 Win v Normanhurst

The team are really working well together as a team and managed a great win this week. It was a slow start with no goals scored in the first half with equal sound defense from both teams. Riley was awarded player of the week this week for his drive and stamina and a good job marking his player. The second half brought us 3 goals from Lachlan Guy, great attack from Jonah and firm defense from Corey and Lachlan Dewar.

2-9 loss v Kenthurst

Lachlan Guy won player of the week this week for his drive and determination to get to the ball. Great job Lachlan! He also kicked our first goal of the match. Jonah followed this up with another great goal. Riley, Lachlan and Corey Dewar showed sound defense but we just couldn’t hold them out this week.

3-5 loss v Thornleigh

SCORERS: Jonah 2, Kaitlin 1

With only four players this week, the team all stepped up and did their best. Thank you to Kaitlin from our opposing team Thornleigh who stepped in to help us out this week. Kaitlin’s presence allowed for subs and much needed rest for our team members. Kaitlin scored our first goal! followed up by 2 more from Jonah – great game Jonah! Jonah, Riley, Corey and Lachlan all kept the game alive with their constant ball contact and stamina. Corey won the Player of the Match this week with a great save! But unfortunately we couldn’t hold them out this week and had our first loss for the season. We’re looking forward to continuous improvement in the games to come.

10-1 win v West Pennant Hills

What a great game! The boys played really well together as a team and all had their turn at some great kicks. The team charged out in front from the beginning of the match and managed to keep scoring all game. A superb effort from Lachlan Guy and Jonah with their goal scoring and big kicks moving the ball away from the pack to score. A great goal from Lachlan Dewar as well. Riley and Corey kept the team together with their sound defense winning Riley the player of the match award. Congratulations Riley!

7-1 win v Hills Hawks

We had another great match this week winning 7 to 1. Our Player of the Match awardee Jonah Hough scored our first goal and followed this up with great ball control and teamwork. Lachlan Dewar scored next and then Lachlan Guy followed by 3 more from Lachlan Dewar. This week we also welcomed a new player Hayden Bajema who had his first game with a new team and played a great match. Well done Hayden. Riley and Corey kept the team together with their strong defense and enthusiasm. Great game boys!

A great game for the first of the season! All team members enjoyed themselves and played a great game. Lachlan Dewar was awarded Player of the Week after scoring the first goal of the match. Lachlan Guy scored a goal as well and Jonah surprised us all with his skillful chipping. Riley and Corey also performed well with their sound defense.
We look forward to a fun season.
