SCORERS: Isaac 3, Harry 2
The team played different positions to day. Rachael, Arek, Callum B and Callum M saw plenty of action in forward play, and Luke pushed the ball forward on a number of occasions. Isaac scored the first goal of the match, but then a hand ball penalty in front of our goal led to a penalty against. The team quickly responded with a goal from Harry off a pass from Callum M. Rachael and Jesse helped play the bal forward again, leading to a perfect corner shot from Isaac which Harry converted into the 3rd goal for PHD. Andre defended the goal brilliantly on 2 occasions, saving absolute rocket shots. Isaac was awarded a penalty and put his 2nd goal into the net. Alex Lucero outpaced a number of opposition players, passing the ball to Isaac who shot the teams 5th goal. Great job team – keep playing your positions and keep passing!!

U9/4 win 3-1 vs Ryde District
Game 5 12/5/07
SCORERS: Isaac, Harry, Jesse
The match started out fairly close, but PHD got the upper hand mid way through the first half with a great goal from Jesse off a pass from Zac. Alex was playing hard in the midfield, and showed his total commitment by intercepting a very fast ball which was headed for our goal. He stopped the ball, but suffered a minor injury and had to be taken from the field, to return some minutes later – great job Alex. Shortly after, Jesse placed a perfect corner kick, high and long, right into the goal box. Harry connected his right boot and slammed it into the goal. In the 2nd half, the backs were keeping the ball away from our half, and the midfielders, Callum, Callum and Nic, were pushing the ball forward. Luke and Arex helped pass the ball forward to Isaac. Isaac was tripped by an opponent player right in front of the goal, and was awarded a penalty. Isaac took his time, sized up the shot, then nearly kicked the ball inside out – scoring the 3rd goal of the match for PHD. Ryde district played hard, and put one goal in mid way through the match, but PHD came out the winners. Player of the week went to Alex Lucero for his total commitment shown during the game.

Game 4 5/05/07
SCORERS: Isaac
A tough match, which we dominated throughout, but conceded a goal late in the 2nd half. The whole team were actively passing the ball, and making at least 4 shots at goal. Isaac scored a great goal into the corner of the net off a pass from Callum Brown. The full backs played an important part in this match, defending our half on a number of occasions, and turning the ball around. Great job guys.

U9/4 win 10-1 vs Thornleigh
Game 3 - 28/4/07
SCORERS: Zac (4), Isaac (3), Harry (2), Jesse (1)
Wet weather greeted the team, but that obviously didn’t concern them too much! Right from the whistle the team were pushing the ball forward and attacking the oppositions’ goal. Zac scored 4 goals, including one from a penalty shot. The team were passing the ball beautifully for the entire game, literally running the opposing team off their feet. Isaac, Harry and Jesse also scored goals to take the total to 10 nil. An off side penalty allowed Thornleigh to score a deserved goal – they tried really hard the entire game, but Pacific Hills was just too strong. Our midfield and backs assisted the forwards, as well as enjoying the spare time mucking around in 2 inches of mud…..great fun! Player of the week award went to Zac – great job mate

Game 2 - 21/4/07
A hard fought game, where the result could have gone either way. The team are really starting to move the ball around now, passing back and forth and pushing the ball forward. Harry, Zac and Jesse all had great attempts at goal but were thwarted by a strong back line and a keen goalie. Good job guys – keep pushing forward!>

U9/4 - lose 1-8 vs All Saints
Game 1 - 14/4/7
SCORERS: Zac Mills
A tough match for the team, starting the season with 2 players short, and with no subs. The boys played a solid game, defending well, and pushing the ball forward whenever they could. Zac scored a great shot off a corner. Well done boys….keep passing!! Player of the match award was awarded to Andre, who was kept quite busy, and did an excellent job defending the goals
