Game 12 14/7/07
SCORERS: Max Bailey / Nicholas Churchill / Christopher Stroud
A wet and soggy ground saw Redfield kick an early goal. The wallabies then got underway with some excellent tackling and a few near misses for goal by Max and Ben. Great defence by Matthew and Samuel. An excellent long kick from centre field by Nick saw us even the draw by half time. Second half once again saw Robert and Chris keep up the forward front with great tackling and long kicks. Max scored and excellent goal to put us in the lead. Samuel followed through with the ball bringing it away from Redfield. Xavier and Nick kept up a strong defence in the back. Chris kicked our 3rd goal to give us a steady lead. Not much action for Joel as goalkeeper in the second half as Pacific Hills tried to keep the ball away from Redfield’s end.

Game 10 23/6/07

A very welcome game, after the “Big Wet”! Everyone was rearing to go and this flowed through into the start of the match. Chris, Xavier, Ben and Max were all fired up with some great tackling and some extra big kicks to drive the ball away from Beecroft. Samuel back up the players well, defending our goal with an excellent goalkeeper in Robert. Just before coming off Chris kicked our first goal. Joel, Matthew and Nicholas kept up the pace keeping the ball away from Beecroft. The second half saw Ben as goalkeeper and Joel, Robert, and Xavier up front tackling and chasing the ball hard. Max and Nick kept up the big kicks for us and Samuel and Matthew held up the back half ensuring the ball was kept well away from the goal. Some great defense and once again a huge kick by Nick sent the ball flying through for our second goal. All players played an excellent second half.

SCORERS: Joel Crawford, Xavier Nicholas
An awesome start to a very exciting match. A couple of near misses for goal to begin the game by Joel. Excellent tackling by Matthew, Robert and Max. Xavier and Joel worked well together in centre midfield with some great passes to each other. Nicholas was kept a little busy as goalkeeper saving some excellent near goals by the opponents. Second half saw the real action begin. After a few near misses Joel finally kicked the first goal. Once again great tackling and some big kicks from Nicholas and Max to bring the ball up to Xavier and Joel. Xavier missed a couple of goals but finally, after much perseverance, he kicked his first ever goal. Once again great tackling by Matthew, Nicholas and Max. A very quiet time for Robert, who played goalkeeper in second half.

A crispy, but sunny start to the match, Joel kicked a goal within the first 2 minutes. Great tackling by Chris, Joel, Matthew and Ben. Good goal saves by Nicholas in first ½ with Samuel a strong back up. Second half saw Joel kick next 3 goals to score our win. Some near misses for goal by Nicholas. Excellent goal keeping by Max in second half. Once again excellent tackling and keeping the ball near our goal by Matthew, Robert, Xavier, Chris, Ben and Samuel.

A great start to the match with Joel kicking our first goal. Goalkeeper, Nicholas, did an awesome job in saving a lot of goals to have us down by 2-1 at half time. Second half of the game saw some excellent tackling by Robert, Samuel, Max and Matthew. Xavier, as goalkeeper, stopped quite a few goals.
Once again a great match by all players.

What a wonderful day for soccer! Our boys started off well with Robert as goalkeeper. He saved some excellent goals and was kept busy with Normanhurst keeping the ball up at their goal quite a bit. Ben and Joel kept the ball moving well with some excellent tackling. Xavier and Samuel played well as backs trying hard to help Robert not let the goals get through. Second half Samuel played goalkeeper. Ben, Chris, Nick, Robert and Max tried so hard and whilst we had some near misses for goal, finally, Chris scored our goal for the game. Overall a game well played. Everyone tried hard and played their best.

Great day for Soccer! Our boys were all over the ball with Matthew saving a great goal for us. Robert had great command of the ball throughout both halves. Joel is achieving the label of star goal kicker. Everyone was very fired up with great tackles. Great result Wallabies, well done

After a wet and soggy start, and playing on the wrong field, we finally started well with out only goal kicked by Joel. Max, Ben, Chris and Nicholas tackled well. Great goal keeping by Nicholas and Chris. Samuel, Robert and Xavier tried very hard and once they had the ball dribbled well away from Pennant Hills. Fantastic effort by our coach, Anna. Overall every one tried very hard. Well done.

SCORERS: Joel Crawford 3 goals
Great start to the season with 6 out of 9 players fired up and ready to go. A sleepy start from the Wallabies saw Joel controlling the ball and practically playing on his own. He kicked all 3 goals for us. Xavier was goal keeper in first half and did a great job stopping a few balls. Max goal keeper in 2nd half stopped a lot of potential goals from getting through. Great play and tackling from Matthew, Nicholas and Robert. Overall a good game for the first week.
