Round 11 - 17/6/6

Scorers: M Smith -2, T Nicholson, B Nicholson

It had been a couple of weeks for some of the boys since their last game but the team came out firing with a large possession ratio in the first half and a great goal by Morgan to give us the advantage at half time, Gladesville are always a physical team and they are the only team the we have lost to and we were not going to let that happen again. The second half revealed that all those long training sessions with Macca on a Thursday afternoon had paid off with our fitness giving us the edge in the second half. A second great goal was scored by Morgan in the second half with large defenders closing the powerful Morgan off, he pulled out a cracking slap off a low directed corner to beat the keeper, the third goal came from a 30 yard free kick by Ben curling and floating it over the keepers head. The final goal of the match came from Typan who decided to take the goally on one on one, and ran the ball into the back of the net. A spectacular game was played by Tim Wilson who saved two incredible shots the second taking a big sacrifice with the loss of the left testicle. The Tunnicliffe brothers also played really well working together in defense. A Big thanks goes out to the referee for the match who kept the whole game under control and was not intimidated by some angry players.

Round 9 - 3/6/6

Scorers: M Sutherland -2, C Sawley, B Nicholson, Morgan Smith

A good win in very windy conditions. The boys knocked around well and controlled the game. Score could have been anything had the strikes been on target.

Round 8 - 27/5/6

Scorers: Kris Rowe -6, P. McConnell -3, C Sawley -2, A Tunni, P Sinclair, M Sutherland, C Peachey

A good opportunity for a training run against an under strength Epping outfit. They did well to play to the final whistle, however it was difficult to work up a sweat. Last game for Kris Rowe today and he fittingly scored 6 great goals. He will be missed by all the boys but not the opposition.

Round 7 - 20/5/6

Scorers: Kris Rowe, Tim Nicholson, Ben Nicholson, James Brennan, Charles Sawley

Another fantastic display of brilliance from Kris Rowe and everyone else who turned up. There was an array of sensational shots, Typan took the cake with a few floating high over the bar but after much persistence the Typan striked with a venomous blow piercing the oppositions hearts with a long range crack that found the top corner. Vilmaa stared in some amazing touches and theres really no words I can use to describe the brilliance and hotness of Peachey and the Greyhound, we all owe them the deepest gratitude, ah Kris scores another to make it 5 for the game, heaps leave to go help American kids. Some incredible goals were scored by Kris but the man of the match performance had to be split between him and Andrew Kennedy, putting heart and soul into some midfield line running to put some screaming crosses across the face of the goal.

Round 6 - 14/5/6

Scorer: Kris Rowe

A great game was played on a not so great ground. The game started was played and finished with some aggression on the park from both sides. A great goal was scored by Kris as an equalizer late in the second half and his second goal was stopped twice by the wood work of the frame. A big effort came from Pete and Caleb inn defense and our forwards Ben , Tony, Morgan and Myles. A great level of coaching support displayed by injured player Luke Montgomery. A tough game was made even tougher after a sensational night for a Liverpool supporter in the FA cup. It was disappointing for our boys to display their first loss of the season but after that great reality check it will hopefully be the last.

Round 5 - 6/5/6

Scorers: Morgan Smith, James Brennan, Charles Sawley

A really tough contest today. The first game this season that we have been challenged all across the park. Great Goal keeping kept us in the game with 3 sensational goals giving our boys the win. A long left foot shot from james brennan at a tight angle in the top corner, a 1 on 1 finish from morgan to score the first and an incredibly gutsy 1 on 1 challenge from Charles Sawley sealed the victory in the last few minutes. A gutsy effort by every player and a few nail biting moments in the final minutes kept the spectators on the edge of their seats. That a massive 5 from 5!!!.

Round 4 - 29/4/6

Scorers: Kris Rowe -3, Charles Sawley -2, Luke Montgomery, Tim Wilson

Riverslade reserve was picture perfect weather and Tarben Creek was the perfect backdrop to the Puma’s invigorating game.
The first half put us 4 goals infront with the forwards ands mids being a formidable opponent wearing out the slightly older opposition.
The second half was much more of a competition but Maker’s boys are in top fitness. Backs and goalies kept the score to nill. Tim Wilson starred by scoring in the second half, well worth giving our goalie a run.
Much respect goes out to Luke Monty for his incredible effort in the mids putting blood and guts in only to be put into a bad situation by a bad opposition. A great game was had by all the boys with a fierce competition for leading goal scoring by participated in with Kris putting away a few lucky goals leading the boys on 8 and a few of the boys still left on 3 with Charles, Luke and Typan.

Round 2 - 8/4/6

Scorers: Tim Nicho -2, Luke -2, Kris, Ben N

A really tight 1st half as PHD attacked relentlessly Kris Roe scored first with only seconds remaining before half time in what was a just score line considering the pressure that had been applied. After the break the flood gates were opened as the boys started to convert their opportunities. A great header from Luke off a Charles corner started the onslaught with the following goals reminiscent of a world cup tie. A great effort from all the boys.

Round 1 - 1/4/6

Scorers: Charles Sawley -2, Myles Sutherland, Kris Roe, Ben Nicholson, Tim Nicholson

AA19 is somewhat of a mystery division. Gladesville Ravens were a skilled and agressive side who were missing the luxury of a bench. As the game endured Pacific Hills - Dural started to dominate the midfeild and goals started to come as a result of relentless pressure. The final result was a satisfying one for our first game together, and a good sign for the season ahead.

A special thanks to Craig Nicholson and Stuart Lemaire for thier assistance in officiating on the day.
