Week 11 (21/6/08) played 9/8/08
SCORERS: NIXON (2), RYAN (3), WILL, BLAKE
Our last game of the season and what a game it was. A win of 7-1.
The Green Machines were on fire today. I think knowing that it was their last game they played their little hearts out and it showed.
Fantastic goals from Nixon with 2, Ryan with 3, Will with 1 (although Nixon thought it should have gone to him) and Blake with 1. Well done guys!!!! There also were so many great tries for a goal from Ethan and Brooke but just missed by a smidge. Zach showed us some fancy backwards heel kicking. We were all amazed with ooooo’s and ahhhhh’s. Aiden again showed us some fantastic teamwork passing to his fellow Green Machines.
A great ending to a season, although a little sad that it is all over.
Thanks to Coach Stew for coaching The Green Machines. Couldn’t have done it without you. It was also fun managing this team of such happy and fun loving kids and thanks to all the parents that came to support their kids and scream from the sidelines, although Vanessa gets a gold star for being the loudest!
No player of the week this week as being our last game you all deserved to get it.

Week 3 (26/4/08) played 2/8/08
SCORERS: Caden, Ryan
Normanhurst b side were great to play against. They are a strong team and gave us a good workout. Fantastic Game played by both sides. A draw of 2-2.
Our goals were scored by Caden with one with a great set up from Nixon and one from Ryan. Thanks guys.
Poor Blake got winded and had to come off but he still played a fantastic game when he was on. Brooke was a fantastic team player and so many attempts at goals…even though she is our only girl on the team she gives the boys a run for their money. Ethan, William and Zach so many times got the ball to our side of the field but we just couldn’t quite get it in the goals due to Normanhurst’s defence, but a terrific effort all the same. Aiden today showed a huge amount of team work and helped with defending the ball.
Player of the week went to Ethan…….WELL DONE MATE!!!!!

Week 15 (26/7/08)
SCORERS: NIXON (3), ZACH (2), WILLIAM (2), CADEN, RYAN
Great game today considering the grounds where very muddy and a lot of slipping and sliding going on due to the field.
A WIN FOR THE GREEN MACHINES!!!!.
A huge amount of teamwork today and great foot skills from all players. Excellent set up for goals from Zach, William, Caden helping out Nixon and Ryan to score.
Great scoring with a total of 9 thanks to Zach with 2, Nixon with 3, William with 2, Caden with 1 and Ryan with 1. Ethan did a fantastic job today defending and running down the other end with the ball helping us with scoring as well as Aiden and his effort with teamwork. Although we were down three players today you guys did a fantastic job.
Well done to Nixon for getting Player of the Week……..proud of you mate!

Week 14 (19/7/08)
SCORERS: CADEN
Well today we were down 3 players due to school holidays and to make things interesting we had to pass over two players to Normanhurst as they were down 2 players.
So with only 5 players per side for the whole game we had very tired kids at the end.
We played well, great tries here and there but in the end scoring only one goal…thanks Caden!!!!
A lot of great sportsmanship shown today by you all and even though we lost we had a lot of fun.
We had no player of the week this week. We felt that you all did brilliantly today and were fantastic sharers by giving up two of the Green Machines to Normanhurst. We are very proud of you.

Week 13 (5/7/08)
SCORERS: Nixon, Caden, Joe, Zach, own goal
You guys so us great teamwork today.
A WIN 5-0.
Aiden in the first half was definitely working hard and showed us great skills. Zach in the first half got the first goal of the match…well done mate. Second half is when you guys got serious. 4 goals where made, 1 by the other team in our goal. Thanks Hills Hawks. Nixon, Caden and Joe gave us the others. Well done guys. So many attempts to get goals from Brooke, William, Ethan, Joe and Ryan. Ryan showed us fantastic feet skills that he has been learning and it definitely helped us through the last half. So proud of you guys and it’s such fun watching you each week play. Keep up the good work Green Machines!!!!

Week 12 (28/6/08)

WIN WIN WIN !!!!!!!
What a beautiful morning to be playing soccer this morning. It was good to see dry fields again. An excellent game against Kenthurst; they’re a great team. Blake scored 2 goals, Caden scored 1, Zach scored 1 and Nixon scored 1 with a fantastic set up from Joe. WELL DONE GUYS!!!!
Ethan, Zach, Will and Joe had a couple of good tries, but just missed. Good try boys. Ryan showed us some great balls skills and fantastic speed running after the ball. All in all a great game and even though you were a bit slow in the beginning to pulled through in the end.
AWESOME TEAMWORK!!!!

Week 10 (14/6/08)

We played another great team, Thornleigh. A very strong team to play against, which was good for us. Great scoring from Caden scoring 3, Zach scoring 1 and Nixon scoring 2. Thanks guys.
Great saves from both Ryan and Zach and fantastic defending from Ethan and Ryan. Blake had a good try there at one stage….just missed by a smidge. Good try though Blake. William showed us some fancy foot work there even though he was down on the ground. Brooke and Aiden also played a fantastic game, heaps of passing and a great show of teamwork. Even though it was a VERY chilly morning you guys played fantastically. Keep it up!!!!!!

Week 9 (7/06/08)

Green Machine you were totally on fire! Congratulations on a fantastic game, so exciting to watch. A winning performance against a determined and skilled team. From the very moment the whistle blew everyone gave 150% the entire game. Well done, we are all so very proud of you!
The trophy went to Caden – you deserved it mate, giving it everything you had the entire match. A complete team effort with an end result to prove how determined you all were right to the very end. And still with energy to burn!!!

Game 8 (31/5/08)
SCORERS: ZACH, CADEN, ETHAN (2), NIXON (3)
Another win!!!!!!! 7-4.
How good were Glenhaven.…..they were a great team to play.
First half was hard and Glenhaven had the advantage against us. Thought they were going to triumph over us BUT in the end you guys fought back and won thanks to Ethan scoring 2 (great set up for one from Caden and one from Ryan), Zach scoring 1, Caden scoring 1 and Nixon scoring 3 (thanks to a great set up from Ryan for one). Thanks Ryan for the set ups and excellent teamwork.
You guys are improving EVERY week and it so great to watch you. Thanks Aiden, Blake, and William for you fantastic team work.
Player of the week went to Ryan. You played so well today Ryan and you are a champion on the field. Keep it up mate.

You guys rocked today!!!!
The team work you all showed today was brilliant…you definitely are showing what we are all about and each week are getting better and better.
We won 14 - 0 and that was thanks to Nixon scoring 5, Caden scoring 4, Brooke scoring 2, Ethan scoring 1, Zach scoring 1 and William scoring 1.
Ethan set up a great goal passing it to Caden who passed it to Nixon to score…..FANTASTIC TEAM WORK GUYS!!!!!
Ryan and Aiden set up so many goals too…couldn’t do it without you guys.
We were down two players but still had a great game.

Game 5 (10/5/08)
SCORERS: Nixon 1, Ryan 2, Blake 1
We had a tough game this morning against West Pennant Hills (a) team. They were such a great team to play against. The Greenmachines played their hearts out and show great team skills. We loss by only one point 5 -4, our first loss of the season but we fought all the way to the end. Nixon scored 1, Ryan scored 2, and Blake scored 1. Thanks guys for the great goals. Caden had a couple of near goals…great effort mate and thanks to Brooke, Aiden, Ethan, William and Joe for such a great effort too.
Player of the week went to Ethan……WELL DONE ETHAN.

Game 4 (3/5/08)

Great to see the sun out today…finally. What a fantastic game. The Greenmachines were on fire today and very happy to be playing again. Everyone played brilliantly and there was a lot of fantastic teamwork.
We had a win of 10 – 0 thanks to Nixon 3 goals, William 1 goal, Zach 1 goal and Ryan with a huge 5 goals. Well done Ryan…terrific work. Caden, Brooke, Ethan, Aiden, and Blake showed fantastic team work setting up goals and defending the ball.
Thank you to Mrs Mylonas from 1M for coming and watching the kids play. They really appreciated it.
Well done to William for Player of the Week!

Game 2 (12/4/08)

A fantastic game. We had a great team to play against, the Hills Hawks. They scored in the first quarter and we thought we were going to do it tough but the green machines pulled through and charged ahead. Thanks to Ryan scoring 2, Caden scoring 1 and William scoring 1, which he scored from the other end of the field, well done William, we won in the end. Aiden got player of the week- fantastic defending and team work Aiden. Ethan, Brooke, Zach and Nixon played an awesome game too. Wilthout your teamwork we would have lost for sure.
Coach Stew and I are very proud of you all.

Game 1 (5/4/08)
Another brilliant game guys. You ALL played so well even though we were down two players.
It was good you all got to play at least 20 minutes of the game too.
Our score was 5 – 0…our win thanks to Zach 2 scores, Ryan 1 score and Nixon 2 scores. Blake, Aiden, Caden, Ethan, and William all had great tries.
You guys all have terrific teamwork and you all worked together to line up all those goals. WELL DONE GREENMACHINES!!!!
