Semi Final Round 1 (2/8/08)

A tense game to start - our opposition ensured every last player was between us and the goal. The game was exciting as a lot was at stake especially as we have never managed to win over Redbacks this season. Well done to Nicho and Steve for being able to kick the ball in definitively after wonderful team efforts each time. The sideline certainly enjoyed the game which was played with a really good spirit.

Week 12 (21/6/08) played 26/7/08
Scorers – Steve Kirkby (4), Sammy Belmonte
A great and enjoyable match – very close result - we are thankful that Steve gave up a planned trip to Canberra to play the game and scored 4 of our goals. We have finished the season without losing a match – that is a real credit to the boys and their determination. The next two weeks will be interesting as we play the two teams we have drawn against this season. Go Pumas!!

Week 4 (26/4/08) - played 19/7/08

A very entertaining game – all on the sidelines enjoyed the game. Well done to James for his beautifully executed first goal, Sammy’s tricky disputed goal, Nicho’s brilliant goal from way out after a penalty, Steve’s hat trick and then Sammy Steve combo for the final goal. Well done to all the team for achieving Premiership so far before the end of the season – a great result!

Week 14 (5/7/08)
SCORERS: Andrew Clark, Jeremy Tam (2), Josh Nicholson, Stephen Kirkby
A tough game –much tougher then we expected. Glenhaven played really well and as usual their goalie stopped many of our attempts. We saw some great team play form our guys and were very thankful when the final whistle blew and the result was in our favour. Well done to our scorers, Andy, Jeremy Nicho and Steve – all were great goals. Many thanks too to Nicky and Lochie for helping us out again.

SCORERS: Harry Mahaffie (U15), Luke Szanto
A difficult game with Eastwood having a great backline and goalie. Harry scored a great goal early which was not evened for quite a while. Early in the second half we were given a penalty for exactly what reason we were uncertain and another goal was the result. This score was maintained for the rest of the game until a textbook goal from our back Luke Szanto into the top right hand side of the net from way outside the 18 yard line. The crowd erupted and Luke’s Dad was over moon. The game ended one minute later and we were all delighted with how well all the guys had played and how hard they had worked for the draw.

Week 11 (14/6/08)

A good game – great team play – many thanks again to Matt Dawoud, Justin Waters and Harry Mahaffie for helping us out and to Harry for scoring again. Also to Jack and Dominic for cheering on their u15 team memebers.

Game 9 (31/5/08)

Another hard game – we managed to hold on to the draw but are very thankful to 4 - U15 players, Jessie Choy, Jack Holly, Andrew Payne and Harry Mahaffie for coming to help immediately after their game had finished. Special thanks to Harry for scoring the only goal for the day and to all the players for fighting hard over an uneven ground with the hills and dales and cricket pitch in the middle.

Game 8 (24/5/08)
SCORERS: Josh Nicholson (2)
A tough game with some of our guys still recovering from playing on Thursday all day. The teams were quite even and the score reflected the hard fought game. Nicho’s first goal boosted the confidence with the ball perfectly sent over the goalie’s head while he was out defending. A tired team were very glad to see the second goal and it was a case of hanging on to the end – well done for trying so hard and thanks to Lochie for filling in for an injured Marshall.

Game 7 (17/5/08)

Well done team ––great team play- what a result – took quite a while to get going but then the goals came thick and fast – thanks to Nicky for replacing Scott and for your great goal outrunning the opposition and then getting a clean shot past their goalie. Well done to Steve also for a hat trick! All the goals were most entertaining !

Well done team –– all players were on a roll and were passing and pushing up the ball really well – an enjoyable game to watch and it was played in a really good spirit.

Game 2 (12/4/08)

A good game – both teams played well – our attack and defense were solid.Many thanks again to our U15-2 players who came straight from their game – Jess Choy ,Matthew Dawoud, and Jack Holley.

Game 1 (5/4/08)
A comment from one of our players was “that this was the best structured game we have ever played” – the formation held well and the results were solid. Well done to the great team effort that saw the ball safely to our scorers Sammy Belmonte and Josh Howard and also Matthew Dawoud from U15-2 A special thanks to Matthew, Jack and Dominic from U15-2’s and also Lochie and Nicky from u14-1 who all played brilliantly and who were a great help in ensuring our team got adequate rest and did not have to play short this week. They all held their own so well against the bigger guys.
