Well the team didn’t play very well today. They were excellent instead. We played the only team to beat us so far this season and managed to turn the situation around and win 2-0. A goal was scored in each half. With some excellent saves in goal by Sam Martin in the second half to keep us in the game. Overall though the defense was excellent, shutting down most breaks easily and the midfield kept running up and down the field non stop. The passing between the players to break up the field was exceptional. Well done everybody - Josh Batchelder won the team trophy this week with an excellent effort in the midfield with his tackling and passing. The win puts the team in outright 2nd position on the ladder
